OK this confirms it. Everyone keeps saying that the floor area is still quite large and that it just looks small because the building is so damn tall.....well, judging by the humans in that picture for comparison, the floor area is not very big at all. How many more floors until this thing tops off?

Yep, its just a spire from here on out. The actually skyscraper was completed a month ago. The rest is just ascetics to make it look taller. Doubt these floors will ever be occupied for any reason at all. No point in having to go up and down up tp 30 flights of stairs.

Hi all

The top level you see in the pic is 2800 sq. ft. The size of a large house as I have said before. A fairly large size at 630 m. up.

The steel you see is the top of the last named level - 160 mezz. 3. This last level is taller than any guyed mast standing anywhere on Earth. After this there is stairs, internal ladders, and platforms right to the top.

This structure is much more than a skyscraper. It is by a large margin the tallest manmade structure in history supported or not. The spire and pinnacle left to be built is all breaking new ground. It also continues the complex arrangement of tiers that started from the ground and will complete the proportions of the structure.

The distortion makes the Burj look as tall as the Earth is round.

True, but it still has to pass the once-proud Warsaw Radio Mast at 646 meters.
