Having spent a good part of my life in Mississauga cause all my cousins are there, there is no countryside, barely any open space at all, at the Toronto/Mississauga border. It is a continuous urban area through and through. So yes, your point stands. Mississauga is part of the Toronto urban area as defined by Statistics Canada.

Also here is a video link to Telus Sky's amazing public art feature called Northern Lights, by Douglas Coupland. It won't let me post the video directly, but the link works, and the picture is pretty.

The Mississauga comment was only meant as a joke, I had no intention of starting such a long winded debate. Anyway, lets move back to the top 10, that lighting installation looks incredible. Will it cover the entire height of the building?

I really hope so, the lighting would look really cool with the taper in the building!

I think the distance as the crow flies is 34km vs 38km so pretty close. The GVRD has more winding, curvy road network than the GTA, generally speaking.

I don't know. For some living in apartments, dancing led lights are enough to trigger an epileptic fit.

Yes, the entire 222-meter facade is a fully dynamic LED system with "unlimited colours and unlimited combinations" according to the developer.

You're welcome Calgary! Vancouver's gift to you. Douglas Coupland and Westbank.

But seriously that lighting scheme looks fantastic.

Wouldn't mind an exact replica of Telus Sky to complement Vancouver House instead of this pile that has been proposed.

Yeah man, they would look incredible and quite complimentary as a single megaproject together!

By me.

Yes, I know a lot about the Ice District, hence why I talked about it. The data on it is not difficult to find, and I've been there dozens of times. So I mean, I dunno what you're looking for here

The LED strips should be on the outside of the window frame, facing away from the building, so they may not even see the light.

Yeah, I feel like the complaints about the LEDs came from residents of the neighbourhood of Ramsay, not from residents of the tower in question.
