Pics by me today.

You can see the full diagonal width of the tower now.
It's rising faster than Burrard Place and will probably block all of Burrrad Place for a bit,
then Burrard Place should rise back up after 8X tops out.

Yellow crane in front of Vancouver House.
(and Vancouver House has lost all of its protective plastic)

They haven't moved the forms up yet this week.
Even accounting for 1 day due to Canada Day last week, the pace seems to have slowed
- maybe for different forms for the 2 sub-penthouse and penthouse floors?

Most likely different floor plate. Top floor is amenity.

Almost looks like there are anchor points or brackets spaced out on the curtain wall side of the building for the "x" pattern of fins. Until now I was wondering if they'd been deleted from the design.

Yup - they've been they from the outset of the glazing. The fins/louvres will have to sit away from the glass as the windows flip open.

They've uncovered a parapet wall at the setback near the north west corner.

Thanks for the pics. Yaletown is looking mighty short these days. I wonder if we'll see more renovations adding a floor or two...
