All developers won committee approvals for their projects, though one application drew larger-than-usual opposition from members.
Council will consider the committee’s recommendations on July 21.

Mid-rise development proposed for site of Westboro funeral home
The Starwood Group is one step closer to building a nine-storey mixed-use building at the corner of Richmond Road and Roosevelt Avenue where a residence and funeral home are currently located.
The development addresses are 403 Richmond Rd. and 389 Roosevelt Ave.
The developer needs both official plan and zoning amendments for its vision, which includes 160 residential units and 490 square metres of commercial space along Richmond Road.
Leiper, the councillor for Kitchissippi ward, supported the development application, along with all other members of the committee who were present.
