Along with this project, the brightside development by Bosa will especially be a real game changer for the neighbourhood centred around City Parkway between 104th and 108th. The city has already upgraded the streetscape of various streets/avenues in the area (new streetlights, bike lanes, etc), now all we need to see is some infill.

Has there been a concrete pour yet? It's been about 2.5 weeks since the crane footing went in.

That's a letdown to say the least. Work had been progressing at a decent speed for the last year or so; was hoping to see a concrete pour before July.

Great to hear. The pit is fairly deep so they probably won't get to ground level till the end of summer.

At the pace this team works I doubt they even get to grade by the end of summer...

Thank you. I resized your image as it is too big. Feel free to remove your pic.

PS: Looks like they have reached the bottom.

True...but hopefully work ramps up soon.

Honestly it's just nice seeing some construction progress in the area. Out of all the neighbourhoods in Whalley, it's the area most in need of revitalization.

^Didn't realize how much this development will stick out looking from that vantage point.

Hopefully it's the catalyst that kickstarts more developments in the immediate area in the coming years.

P.S...title should be changed to U/C now.

Any significant progress in the last month? At the pace construction was moving along earlier, I'd be surprised if they're close to street level yet.

No, still long ways from ground level. Can't see any parkade yet from driving by on the road.

Yeah, saw an update on Reddit and looks like they've only built one floor underground with 5-6 more to go prior to reaching ground level. At the current pace they'll be lucky to be at grade by December.

They aren't above ground yet. I'd say mid December they should be.
