The red racing stripes on the Jervis are really distracting. Would've been better if they just put the solid panel on the same side of every box in the grid

$5.35 million for a swanky Davie Street address? What a larf!

Great to see another great case of build more supply for affordability!

Just noticed from that rendering -
since the balconies are staggered / on alternate floors, they'll be installing small sloping canopies
above the sliding glass doors for rain protection.
(they almost look like fabric the way they're depicted (translucent) and do not have gutters)

They'll be made out of a perforated metal sheet

Thanks for the info!
PS - I like the struts under them because they would allow you to hang hanging baskets.

That's a sub-penthouse mind you. It's not like all units in the condo are penthouses and sub-penthouses. Wealthy folks need a place to stay too.

I like that there is at least a remnant of the trees that were so plentiful along this block before.

If they can't sell the unit at the current price then they will sell for less. Money spent on this unit is money not spent elsewhere. Supply for sure leads for affordability, just maybe not immediately as you demand it. Surely not building anything like Shaughnessy means affordability is around the corner right?
