Other than the still dodgy blend of lower box facades near the base, the tower is looking more and more like a credible project I'd proudly let stand over our skyline. I just hope this height race continues for a few more towers yet and we'd enter a whole new league, skyline wise anyway...

Is this the last opportunity for City Council to nix the project if they so desire? I hope they don't, personally. Just build it already...

They mentioned construction start late 2018, early 2019 on CHED.

Very good news indeed! What I wouldn't give to see a high-res skyline rendering with a completed Ice District & Quarters Hotel tower in it... Never mind Encore, North, Emerald, etc...

It reminds me of the Trump Tower in Chicago.....the way the set backs are! And I hope it gets built!
