London, England, would be a much more interesting place with a taco truck on every corner

It's sorely lacking Latinos!

(And could use some more Orientals, too.)

Equalization payments!!!! The damned feds are taking money out of my pocket and giving it to those lazy Frenchies! And then those ungrateful people in Quebec have the gall to criticize our fossil fuel (err, energy) economy!!

Statistics Canada has such a hate-on for _____, otherwise surely they would amalgamate ____ and _____ into the CMA, and I could feel even more important!

Identity is such a intangible construct... You can literally feel it in Montreal, but not in Toronto.

This thread is growing impressively fast! At the current rate, it's going to have overtaken Shanghai in a few years.

Montreal and Edmonton are both on medium-sized rivers, yet only the latter ever gets "landlocked" listed as a drawback in the lists of city-specific pros and cons. The anti-Alberta bias in here is really extreme.

To my knowledge, there are only two cities in Canada that have a fruit associated with their name. One is obviously Saskatoon and Saskatoon berries.

And the other one is... you guessed it!

There's Peachland but I guess it's not really a city.
