Does anyone have a copy of the floor plan of the penthouse of this thing? IIRC, the bathroom had no door!

Thanks again Jamie, a much needed photo update series, once was a young man who gave us regular photo updates as well, think his name was Aiden or something.

I bet he's too busy after hitting the big time with his poetry:

Last week we took a number of advisors to Winnipeg to have them walk the future condominium site of LiveWorkPlay Winnipeg, and get a tour of downtown Winnipeg. Many were left with a very positive impression of the city and were even more excited about selling the product. We are also planning a strategic reveal of the project rendering in September, details will be announced soon!
from http://fortressrealdevelopments.com/...ummer-edition/

hype it up

Will it be Winnipeg's tallest eyesore? Mady isn't known for building beautiful projects. Project architect is Kirkor. Makes me nervous.

Kirkor's newer high rises are fairly nice: Hullmark Center, TIFF Tower, BAIF Mississauga, for example. Mady on the other hand...yikes. It doesn't even look like they've done anything over 15 stories

Not to question you, most of what you've said about this is pretty accurate. But seriously if Fortress is hyping with that much misinformation, what kind of guys are these?

I know, I know. Typical developer stuff. I've heard about their previous dealings and court cases. But I don't see how all the smoke and mirrors can benefit them. They're spending all this money(apparently), which leads to believe they're serious about the development. Then they go spouting all this crap that isn't true...

We can only speculate as to what Fortress is actually doing as only a few insiders with intimate knowledge of the project and thier connections which have more intimate knowledge of the "proposed project", are telling us it's a sham. Ok bit harsh, not a sham, but they should not be believed. I guess it's "wait and see"?

I have yet to read anyone on here with "inside info" tell us it's a "sham". They said they are hyping up the project beyond where it's really situation at this point, but no one has said it was a "sham". Let's be careful not to put words in peoples mouths.

Personally, I am not taking much stock at all in terms of this Fortress "development" until shovels are in the ground. What I have seen thus far is mostly sales tactics and gimmicks. No substance yet.

It's really pointless at this time to obsess over every little tweet that comes out.
