I'm assuming someone could send a message to one of the Mods about this development as well as the Nicollet project as they are both under construction now.

The Nicollet one isn't under construction yet. I believe foundation work has to be underway in order for it to be in that category here Soon though.

PS, thanks for posting that F & C article on Urbanmsp that I snagged

I'm going to put this here, assuming the threads will be merged sometime in the next couple days.

You did it! You did it! Showed a photo with that ugly Hyatt in the background and that ugly parking ramp! I thought my puking days were over!

To think those new residents will have to suffer, looking at that ugly ramp and that ugly hotel everyday!

Perhaps they'll start a fund drive, to have it repainted (even that would help!), resurfaced or demolished!

I watched the construction of that hotel, as I lived at 200 Oak Grove St., and had a back unit with a view of the city, and watched the construction of that hotel everyday, getting sicker by the day!

I shame the city council members and the mayor for that desecration of the city skyline!

Looks like most of the footings for this are poured and the tower crane went up today.

This is moving right along.

From Matt at Urbanmsp.com
http://www.urbanmsp.com/viewtopic.ph...t=22&start=660

Going to have quite a presence in the neighborhood, as it is much taller than any building you see in the picture. Has about 30 floors to go yet.

Rising up quick

This photo is credited to ibeamsystems, and can be retrieved at http://server2.varcsystems.com/on-si...022D49FC2F.jpg

Looks like it's going up relatively quickly, at roughly one floor per week. Should be making a strong impact on the skyline within a few months!

This one really went up fast! 5 floors to go! This is one of those you wish were 10 stories taller!
