Winnipeg being on the Monopoly board would be a joke. I can think of a few dozen cities that should be on there first.

If you do win and they don't put you on, flip out and make a scene until you get people's choice!

Classic lack of civic pride from a much too typical Winnipeger.

There's pride and then there's common sense. As much as I like Winnipeg, we are small potatoes compared to some of the other cities that may not make it onto the board because of Winnipeg's possible inclusion. This is comparable to Hal Anderson becoming 34th greatest Canadian of all time, or a name-this-bridge competition in Hungary declaring "Stephen Colbert Bridge" the winner, or more recently... Rory Fitzpatrick nearly being voted onto the all-star team last year.

We may be "small potatoes," but damn it, we are also the tastiest.

Worth it.

Don't forget about Greenpeace naming a whale Mister Splashy Pants after everyone from fark.com voted.

Well, Winnipeg is now number 5, right behind Lvyv, Ukraine.

Quebec is 3rd.

I don't know, but at least it's not Gdynia, Poland, which is number 1 on the Wild Card list right now. :O

there's a winnipeg missouri?

Winnipeg
In the northeast part of Gasconade Township, (in the southeast part of the county). A post-office from 1910. Named for Winnipeg, Canada, by postmaster, M.J. Dugan, whose people came from there. (--Place Names.)
Winnipeg is located at Section 31, Township 34 N, Range 12 W, approximately five miles west of Highway 17.

OK, so now we've dropped to #7. There are only a couple of hours left people, so let's get our vote on

I account for 3 votes/day. So long as we make it as a wildcard, then we can vote ourselves into the top 2. Baltic avenue here we come

Well, Quebec City is number 1 right now, and Winnipeg is still number 7.

Squeeze in those votes people!

How is that possible? You are only allocated 1 vote for each 24 hour period. At least that is the way it works for me.
