Nice shots Priller!!!! Spring has sprung above the tree line and can be seen from the Mopac/183 interchange now!!!! I know some people has said it has little impact on the skyline but it depends on the angle!

Actually, the bridge will cross Cesar Chavez, go just east of the Gables apartment building u/c, then go under the railroad tracks, coming out on Bowie just north of Third Street. Spring residents will have easy access to the hike and bike trail, and the south side of the river.

That's great, because whenever I'm over there on my bike on the bridge, it's impossible to get from there over to say, Whole Foods or Waterloo Records. I usually end up taking Cesar Chavez over to San Antonio, then take that up to 5th Street and over to Lamar.

Looks as though I was incorrect. Technically the bridge itself will not extend under the tracks. However, there will be an underpass under the tracks, and foot and bike traffic access will improve greatly.

For future reference, try Shoal Creek sometime instead of going farther to San Antonio. Very cool trail, with some nice views, and will take right where you need to go.

Wow, Austins skyline is getting a lot better and its extending further out which is pretty cool. Its still not all that dense but when the Austonian is finished it will be a lot more impressive.

It has been interesting to watch this skyline grow. Austin's looking great! Can anyone tell me if condo sales are doing well in the new highrise properties?

The Hyatt is a pretty good substitute. Not that tall, but a good view of downtown.

Um, not quite "public". They have these ballrooms on the top floor, with a long balcony. I've never taken photos from there, but I've been meaning to do that for a long time.
