O.K. I can't do this competition...I ran out of ideas for a complex. The one idea I have is way too hard to make and another one just seems stupid with only one tall building and the rest under 200 feet....Would that be Ok?

I put something together last night (because I needed to take a break from hw, and relax my mind with something I enjoy). Can't say it's a WFC, but it'll do I guess.

Anyways, I finally have a design and I think it's nice so I will not drop out. But I just got the idea yesterday so I need time to finish the site, tower, etc...

Anyways, your at least going to enter this competition right?

I know what you mean. I am only allowing myself to model cities when I get breaks from college. I'm in one right now for Thanksgiving.

O.K. I think I'll be finished with my entry today, but do I just post my entry here or p.m. it Austin? Hope you all don't drop out and finish soon.

Tips:
1.Just pick a location that way you don't design a square plaza, it can be from a S.U. city or a real city. When you have a location look at buildings around it so you can choose an architectural style that goes best with the complex and surroundings. Complexes are in big blocks compared to it's surroundings or in more than 2 blocks.
2.Choose a height that goes best with the design of complex and surroundings so you don't make something too tall or too short.
3.Try to add smaller buildings under 75 feet because complexes usually have malls, museums, etc...
4.Bridges are common in complexes so you might want one or two.
5.Hotels, Office, Retail, and residential are also common.
6.Small roads cross the complex usually.
7. Fountains and plazas will help your complex look nice and add color to the complex.
8. Grass, tree, flowers also add colors and make the complex environmentally friendly =).
9.Usually a complex has a tall structure which can be a monument, freestanding structure, or building.

Oh, it will help if you draw some buildings in paper and you can also be inspired by a real building. I know I was. You don't need all those things in a complex, I just posted them to help you peeps.

Edit:
Never mind I read it in the page before that I should post my complex here, I'll post my entry later today.

"1.Just pick a location that way you don't design a square plaza, it can be from a S.U. city or a real city"

But before the rule was that it had to be from a real city. So now we can just make it directly to our cities?
