They've started to put the glazing up on this one.

Thanks for the update. I'm pretty excited about this project... it often gets overlooked but it is one of the biggest residential only projects in the city and should help balance the skyline near Wall centre as it currently is somewhat isolated.

Thanks for the updates SFU. Rather than plaster every thread I'll just keep it to this one... hope that's ok!

I hope this one turns out nicely. The glass I've seen so far on the lower floors looks pretty bland so hopefully it looks better once the entire effect is realised.

Great pics!!

I love the view from Barclay looking east. It looks already like it'll have no problem fitting in.

I'd say they've got about 35 floors to go!

Does anyone know the rate of construction for Patina?
Would the be at a clip of one floor per week?

It should be, and probably will be soon if not already.

The fastest a project can really go is at about a floor per 4 days or so, which is the minimum time to let the concrete cure properly before moving the forms.

one of my favorite things about this project, beside the mixed use, is the appearance of size with this tower. It will give such a nice feeling of big city to that corner and when you are driving on smithe/burrard

Wow, I didn't know it was getting so big. Haven't been by there in awhile, I guess.

Here's a broader context shot taken by me today - it'll add some height to the area.
It's a bit downhill from One Wall but at 418 ft should top out 3 floors or so below the roof (450 ft)
(i.e. ceiling of the highest condo level, not the mech penthouse) of One Wall:

It should look quite impressive from both English Bay and while coming over the Burrard or Granville St Bridges. It will actually stick out from quite a few places due to the relative lack of height of any of the buildings around it (aside from Wall Centre of course)
