It Does Look The Same But You Can See It Will Be Bigger, And Have First Class Suites Etc, It Is Just Too Bad The It Was Not A Dome Staduim, Like Dallas, And The Fact That The Giants And Jets Will Be Sharing This Should Have Blown Dallas Away, Dont Get Me Wrong This Will Be A State Of The Art Facility, But With 2 Teams This Should Have Been What Yankee Staduim Is To The Mlb .
New Jersey Governor Jon Corzine, State Senate President Richard Codey, New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority Chairman Carl Goldberg and NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell joined Jets Chairman and CEO Woody Johnson, Giants President and CEO John Mara and Giants Chairman and Executive Vice President Steve Tisch to unveil the design and sign a steel beam to kick off major construction. Dozens of additional public officials and special guests were also on hand for the ceremony, which was emceed by NFL Network anchor Rich Eisen.
The final steel beam has been put in place at the new Giants' and Jets' stadium in the New Jersey Meadowlands.
Owners of both teams autographed the beam before it was hoisted up to top off the stadium yesterday.
Construction on the $1.6 billion facility began in the summer of 2007.
The Giants and Jets, who co-own it, will play there beginning in 2010.
The new stadium will seat 82,000 fans and feature amenities such as wider concourses, more restrooms and easier access than at the current stadium next door.
It will also feature about 2,000 video screens.
The old Giants Stadium will be torn down next year.

Okay so an update on the Rail Station at the Meadowlands. By Chance I just happen to be driving by the stadium on my way to work today and it is done. It's all lit up and it looks fantastic in the background of the stadium. I saw a commuter train go thru there testing it out.
