Todays Update:

Today I added alot of additions to the city.....

This first shot is the Vishay Oil Corporation Headquarters. This is the only corporate headquartered building in the city with a public observation deck. There are three floors of the observation deck in the crown.

Here is a closer look of the observation decks.............

The corporate logo statue in the plaza. A growing trend in the city amongst corporations..............

This is the newly built International Financial Center. The cities new tallest at 120 floors. I added some new office buildings as well as some residential ones on the in the area.

Another look at the tower. I'm thinking of adding a twin of this tower across the street.

In this shot you can see the city has really expanded in size. I am working on a new suspension bridge (The Hutchinson Bay Bridge), as well as adding more to the skyline. Here's a nice shot of the current skyline.......
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Thats all for today..........
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Please don't be shy with the commentary. Also please feel free to give suggestions!! What do you like? What don't you like? What would you like to see??? Opinions? The comments help!

Wow, that new tallest is great! I think a twin would look pretty good, but it's up to you.

looks great new tallest is looking good...however i dont think you should twin it...you should make a similar, smaller, sister tower instead...let the tallest bask in all its glory

I'm really debating this. Do any of you know how to copy and paste a single building?

Woah! Your city really has nice and uniqie buildings. Twin Tower = YES! But I think you should angle them, like my CyberSoft Twin Towers:

Select all of its edges and faces, then copy it. Selecting can be tricky, you can do it the tedious way, click each edges and face (using SHIFT to select multiple things), or, you can change the camera angle to directly above the building and attempt to select all of it at once (click, drag, release).

Your best bet for copying and pasting an entire building is going from a top down view and carefully selececting all of the building's componants.

I really like the unique shapes of your towers. The rivers and the suspension bridge are coming along fantastically.

Really, really well done.

As Promised...A big update.................

This first shot shows how big the city is currently, and how much room the city has to expand..........

This is the updated Financial District. The core of it is completed with numerous new buildings. I am still undecided what to do with the "twin" idea for the IFC.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
A new tenant has moved into the original Wentworth Financial Building, and the former WERN Record Building. TRI is a life insurance and financial company. With the new move has brought the end of the famous Wentworth "W" ontop of the building. TRI covered it with their logo on either side. The "W" has been a native landmark for 42 years before it was recently covered, but never an official city landmark.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Here is a pic of the suspension bridge which is coming along very well. It should be completed by the next update.

That is all for now. Please leave comments, suggestions, requests!

^^^^^^^^I know , I know

I just don't have time to get involved with textures, and making the buildings and storylines is what I enjoy and have time for.

The layout of your city and the design of your buildings are superb. I agree with Patrick, the uniqueness of every building makes it believable: no cookie cutter buildings in Hutchinson. Your city would be stunning if you textured it, but with the complexity of the buildings that would take a while. Keep it up, we want to see more....preferably textured.

Today's Update..........

Been too busy for Hutchinson lately, but had some time this morning.

This a new commercial highrise I made..........

Here is the unfinished Wilkins Financial Group National Headquaters.
NIMBY's and the historical society teamed up to put a stop to this one
because they felt it was ruining Riverside Park. Currently 30 floors are completed of the 70 floor tower. Since construction stopped in 2004,
the company has occupied the first 20 floors, but is fighting in court to
complete the building.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

This is the New Hornet's Stadium was recently completed. The official name is TRI Stadium due to it being sponsored by TRI Insurance. Larger than the previous one, this stadium is said by city officials to be the start of new city
development and renovation.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The origianl stadium being demolished. This has hosted the Hornets for 40 years when it was completed in 1965. By it's look, no one is really sad to see it go, but it was considered a local landmark.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Thats all for now.

Dont forget to visit my other thread "my vast skyscraper development......." on ssp cityscape. Please leave an opinion, reply, etc.......
