On my shoulder so I shot blind with my Panasonic DMC-ZS25, dozen tries and 2 came out.

Truly amazing these close ups are. If I am not wrong, the last one seems to be an extreme close up of a leaf.

By the way what is this supposed to be:

Sorry they are so small, I no longer have the original photos with me, they are in Houston on a cd somewhere. That was another life. The last photo and a few of my other nature photos were featured in a 2007 article by Natures Best Magazine.

Man those are really amazing photos ! Why did you move away from nature photography. Good habits must be continued !

Thanks pawarsteve! Flourite is a mineral that often forms naturally in cubic shapes. I backlit the specimen posted above with a flashlight to bring out the colors.
