Well I've done a lot of stuff in Remus city
Look at the skyline

I've made the river, It's about twenty one miles long.

Here, from left to right in the middle of this photo, is the police headquarters, central fire station and the largest hospital.

Here is a huge parking structure next to the hospital, I've re-textured all of my parking structures.

Here is the cathedral, next to it is the catholic school, rectory and monetary.

A new green space in downtown.

And now here are two of my best buildings salvaged from version one of Remus city.

And here is crystal tower, modeled after a real crystal that I have.

Well thats all, please tell me what you think.

The river is a good addition. I like how the park is next to the river, so the park is even a better place for recreation. The cathedral is a good fit!

Well I've made some more buildings.

This is another building inspired by my crystal, It is one thousand and fourty feet tall. I really like that crystal's shape

I decided that the monastery was too fancy, so I re-textured it with gothic arches.

After I do this section, I'm making the mile tall tower

Thats it for now, tell me what you think.

I think that the previous version of the monastery was better. There's nothing wrong about a monastery looking too fancy .

Waiting to see that mile high tower and what impact it will have on the skyline.

Well I changed the monastery back to the first version.

I've finished this section.

I've done the mile tall super tower!

The Remus city Acropolis!

With it's flying buttresses, it is Gothic futurism architecture!

The building would have everything inside of it, and has sky-parks!
Here is my super tower compared with some others.

Well thats it, tell me what you think.

Well, that is massive building! Quite well-proportioned, I must say. It dominates the skyline in a way I have never seen before.

I've done two more of downtowns sections.

In the center are two of my best buildings. The small one with the dome is the smaller of two downtown water pumping stations.

Here is another hospital, with a very neat design!

Here is a cool bank.

Just look at this place!

These two buildings in the middle, are also some of my best.

Here is the larger of the two water pumping stations.

Her are some slanted buildings.

Well thats all, please tell me what you think. And thank you all for being interested in my city

I agree with with Patrick: quite futuristic! Maybe this is what 22nd century architecture will look like.

Thank you for the comments
I've done another section of downtown.

Here is a closer look.

This office building is one thousand one hundred and eighty feet tall!

This is a neat building.

Here are some cool buildings. The one in the middle was a glitch, but I liked how it looked.

Here is an open air market, with some small businesses around it.

This is right across the street from the market. It is another open air market, but I'm not sure if it looks good.

This is the second downtown train station.

Here is a small parking lot between some buildings.

This parking lot is hidden by large buildings.

This is a view from the World trade centers observation deck.

Here is a view of the acropolis from the park.

Well thats all for now, please tell me what you think.

Honestly I was not a fan of the acropolis due to its massive size, but in the last pic it fits really well into the cityscape. It kinda changed my mind.

You really have put some thought into this with those open air markets, train stations etc. I like how the acropolis dominates the last shot.

If you added more detail to the Acropolis and kept working on it extensively, the rest of your city would compliment it perfectly. The Acropolis makes this model city unique and interesting... but it is still a relatively simple model.

If you are concerned about model size, It would also be fascinating to see you develop the Acropolis as a stand-alone model... as you did with the Cathedral, which - by the way - is my favorite part of your work thus far. I'd also love to see more detail in the open air market. Detailed tiny shops in the shadow of enormous skyscrapers would have a fun aesthetic effect.

when I'm done with downtown, I will add some details to the most impotent buildings. Also I will put a few street gardens in downtown like the ones in Chicago.
Here is section eight.
Closer view.

From left to right is the new hospital, fire station and police office. There is another water pumping station next to the fire station.

Here are two buildings designed to increase corer office space.

Here is a larger building with extra corner office space.

Here is an art deco building.

I've added a water pumping station in the other fire station.

This is a very old gothic building that shows what downtown looked like before all the futuristic building where built at the beginning of the century.

Well thats everything for now. Thanks for the comments

Wow, its certainly a large city you've created here. Once you've filled that lost empty block are you planning to expand it further?

I'd very much like too.
Here is the part of section nine that I have done so far.

There are a few of these kind of building scattered around downtown to show what it was like before all the new construction.

A very neat hotel.

A hotel with a sky park.

Here are some very fancy hotels, the one on the corner has a sky park, but I don't have time to put trees yet.

Here are some cool buildings.

Another very tall tower.

An old fashioned building.

Well thats all for now. Thanks for the comments

Your expanding your city at an admirable pace. As you show your city mostly from the sky, I suggest you add a bit more detail to the roofs to avoid monotony.

Agree with Vellu, you need to show more roof textures or at least different types of roofs. I'd like to see some lower level shots of the skyline too, must be some cool views over the roof tops or within the canyons formed by the buildings.
