buildings I started and didnt finish yet

Brasil Telecom

Montab (I dont have (and cant find) any photo of its base, to extract the textures or at least to know how its properly shaped

Porto Alegre "New" City Hall (last two floors have ugly textures cuz I couldnt find any decent photo of them. There is one more floor to be done too

Justice Palace... I have all textures, I only need to finish it

Palácio Italia (albeit the name, this is NOT a government building... I dont have textures of its base and side textures are low res, need better photos)

Cosmopolitan Center... doing it, probably I will finish it till friday

mostly, it isnt so different from the normal version. Actually, I do a lot of work on another computer which has Sketchup Free... you just have to install all those plugins and the functionality is basically the same...

pro looks EXACTLY like normal Sketchup.

my free version of Sketchup which I use on my girlfriend´s computer looks exactly like the one above!

Its just that I have dozens of plugins installed... but these plugins work both on PRO and on FREE...

What are most of those plugins for? And where do you get them?

there are plugins for everything there, and you arent even seeing them all (most dont have toolbar icons)

on the top left you several icons to draw (and edit) all kinds of bezier curves. Then you have icons to draw shapes on irregular surfaces (like, lets say you want to draw a star over a sphere)

there is a plugin to push-pull surfaces along normals, another to automatically create stairs, doors or windows of every kind... there are plugins to twist stuff, etc, etc, etc.

There are MANY places to download plugins... I suggest sketchucation forums, where many plugin creators post.

Thank you so much, Trantor for that information. I nabbed all the plug-in at SketchUcation. Really appreciate it.

P.S.: your models are excellent - very detailed. Good job.

my first Novo Hamburgo building (the GE resolution of the city is shitty and blurry, thus its difficult to correctly measure buildings and texture their top, thats why I only made Porto Alegre buildings so far)

Torre Prata

I got in contact with a new modeller for Porto Alegre... Ben Hur Costa (yes, Ben Hur is his real name).

His models are awesome, and his modelling and texturing style is very similar to mine, so Porto Alegre 3d buildings are quite homogeneous!

Here is his first building

União Seguros building

He is also modelling Sulacap, a building I wanted to model but I was always postponing it...

and here, a building a finished over a month ago but apparently forgot to post here

While I am focusing on making highrises to my city and Porto Alegre, São Paulo is severely lacking many important and big highrises... this was one of them... thus, I made my first 3D model for São Paulo

WTorre JK Complex - São Paulo Tower - 135m high
