I'm going to be lazy and instead of researching just going to ask. Where is the parking for this hotel? I watched the time lapse video and realized it doesn't have any of it's own. I'm assuming its in Central Park East but did the developer design that building with enough parking for an additional hotel?

The hotel will not have its own dedicated parking. This Hampton Inn will probably draw a large population of convention attendees who will take light rail, taxis, or rideshare to and from the airport and then walk to the convention center and restaurants. For those guests that do have cars with them, I assume there will be an arrangement with the garage that already serves the adjacent Westin hotel and the offices in the same tower.

Any update on when the residential portion will start? Last I heard was 4th qt last year.

Funny you brought this up. I was trying to find some news on this today, but there isn't any news yet. I think they are still waiting on permits.

Good timing. Plan review filed today for the multi-family portion. 20 stories, 299 units, 226 parking, ground floor restaurant.

We haven't seen a lot of details yet maybe its micro units? Mostly Studios? Maybe most of the parking is underground and the units start on the 2nd floor??

That lot doesn't look very large. 299 units in a 20 floor building seems really dense.

The Stewart will have over 300. So I think it sounds about right. Granted, the Stewart has a large footprint, but it is 19 floors vs 20 for this project. I guess it depends on how many levels are garage they build.
