True, but North Union benefits from a much better location and the infrastructure being more or less already in place, without the need for environmental remediation or public money. Plus Union North has the benefit of all being all rentals, whereas mixed-use is more complicated -- especially for research centers like DPI and the proposed life sciences hub at Michael Reese.
