I love these long distance photo's too. I remember watching the US open tennis tournament a few years back and they showed some shots of Manhatten from the top of one of the show courts and it looked amazing. I don't know I guess it looked 5 miles away but in reality it's probably 20 miles away!! Just shows the shear size of Manhatten. Thanks for listing the photo's.

From that angle, it would appear closer to the Chrysler than the Empire State.

That is one thing about NYC I always loved is the fact that you can be in the densest city yet be so close to the mountains and nature at the same time. What a great location.

Somehwere in northern NJ. Route 23? 17? Don't know, could be a little further out.

I'd have to say those last 2 shots were taken from Route 17 about 25+ miles from the George Washington Bridge. It looks like the begining of Rt. 17, in NJ, not far from Suffern, NY.
