For folks like me who arrive through the Lincoln Tunnel, it's going to be an experience of awesomeness because of the way the skyline unfolds itself as you are driving in NJ.

I'm the same way. There are days where I'm heading into either Jersey City or Newark, and am not so busy, so I'm hoping for a little traffic so I could see the skyline. I love the view from the ramp onto Broad St. in Newark. My favorite view. All of Midtown, Lower, along with Jersey City and many smoke plums from heavy industry. An urban lovers dream.
On a day with great visibility, I just beg for slow traffic as my eyes melt in joy.
Although from NJ, its incredible how the skyline just appears out of nowhere sometimes. You go from houses, and lots of trees to immediate high density. The transition is awesome especially from Bergen County.
