I think M might be Bruce Cabot.
.
"O" might also be Walter Pigeon, but my 1st guess was Tyrone Power.

Does anybody else think "B" might be (a young) Betty White? She started on TV in 1949 as a cohost of the show "Hollywood on Television" with Al Jervis on KCOP. They do have a TV above the bar (Madman Muntz model?) so they may have known her. Betty would have been about 26 or 27 in 1949.

Might "K" be a very blurry photo of Jimmie Stewart (??), but Ray Milland is also possible as Flying Wedge suggested. Very blurry. Unusual "me and my shadow" photo...most likely Milland.

Wild guess..could "C" be Lawrence Welk??? If there were bubbles I would say yes, but none. Also looks like someone else I recognize, but can't quite put my finger on it now. It will come to me later when I shake off my elder fog

I'd like to suggest Cesar Romero for "S"

I think you're right, Snix. ....It seems obvious, now.

Could J be Maureen O'Hara?

or. .um. .Alexis Smith?

I happened upon photographs of Jane Greer (Out of the Past) at her home and with her husband(?).

The photographs are from something called a Key Book. (the pages are being sold separately)

This is how they appeared on eBay.

eBay

This one, being my favorite,. . .I enlarged. (tortured sentence, if there ever was one)

Here it is extra-large so you can snoop around inspect her Disney Tchotchkes.

That's quite an assortment of things.....I spy everything from a bronzed baby shoe to a giant bullet!

More to come.

Mystery location.

Here is Ms. Greer outside her home.

eBay

Does anyone knew where she lived in 1947?

This is what it says at the bottom of ea. page of the Key Book.

Note that the copyright is 1947 and the studio is RKO.

Has "Madman" Muntz ever been discussed here? Probably the first salesman to use the pitch "I'm crazy so I give it away" with TVs and cars. "Crazy Eddie" back east redid it, but his company got into trouble for something or other back in the 1980s.

It looks like among other things, Jane collected Disney figurines from Metlox Potteries that was located in Manhattan Beach. They had the license for ceramic figurines and produced many that are still sought after today. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metlox_Pottery

The "giant bullet" looks like a 25mm cannon shell. Maybe her husband's souvenir from WWII?

Scratch "J" off the unknown list, e_r's guess of Maureen O'Hara is spot-on....

The Shadow Knows... When I was a kid and saw all these photos in a restaraunt, I wondered and would ask my parents whether this meant the stars had eaten there, and if signed, were these the actual signatures of these stars and an endorsement by the stars that this was a good place to eat...or did the owner forge the signatures? I was a skeptical kid, mainly because I couldn't imagine a rich and famous star eating in the places we were eating. I mean the middle of the hot smoggy San Fernando Valley...NoHo and Van Nuys...why would somebody like Spencer Tracy or Kate Hepburn be eating there? My parents said that there were movie studios all around, even in the Valley, and some stars even lived in the Valley, were ordinary flesh and blood people, and sometimes got hungry and went out to eat. My parents were wise. But I still thought to myself, if I had lots of money like Bob Hope of Toluca Lake, who lived not far from where we lived, why would I live in the hot, smoggy Valley?

Projectile might be a once-common 50 caliber bullet-lighter. Stylish Hammond clock.

We first visited the Lou Costello Jr. Youth Foundation back in 2012, Here. ...It still stand at 3121 East Olympic Boulevard, LA.

A couple of days ago some excellent negatives- that we haven't seen on NLA- were listed on eBay. (I believe they have already been sold)

#1...From a distance.

eBay

#2...From across the street....

eBay

I love the old cars parked in front of it.

#3...The pool.

#4...The playground.

Besides the gas station and welding company. .there appear to be a restaurant as well. (see detail below)

That's convenience for you. . .dine while your item is being welded.

Thanks, odinthor.

That's such a sad story about Lou Costello's young son drowning in the family pool.

Here's the front entrance of the foundation as it looks today.

GSV

See that little sign about the door.

It is now the Costello Senior Citizen Center. (at least this part is)

detail

The pool is still there but not in use.

Let's not lose track of:

K is tough. My best guess is Ray Milland.
It looks to me as if Demarest is right for G.

K does look very Milland to me. Milland has a 1944 film, So Evil My Love, which seems to rely on a lot of shadows (at least in the PR shots) . . .

That makes sense. All of the youth grew up and are now senior citizens.
