Where is Hugh Hefner's crypt in relation to MM...right, left, top, bottom? I see a couple of vacancies to the left. Joe D. left roses every day for her, but he is buried elsewhere, isn't he? I guess a Catholic cemetery. Catholics favor body burials, not cremations. Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio?
I spent almost 8 years at nearby UCLA in undergrad and grad school decades ago, but never visited this place. A regret. I always told myself I would, but never did. Plus the departed don't often cross the minds of callow youth. There are other priorities. Now that I feel my mortality, I wish I had checked it out and thanked 2M. I might have even brought her a rose.
