And a stunning one of Brookfield Place for good measure. Never seen the taper captured so well.

I'm counting down the days until I see them putting in stairs up to the deck. Although do we know if the park is going to be open during construction of the second tower? I imagine it could be a liability issue.

Do we really need UT updates? Just wondering. (EDIT: I can understand if you want a new perspective of the project like the above photo)

Don't forget that this is "Canada's 10 Tallest U/C" and there are a lot of lurkers here who aren't on UT!

I know, and it's a valid update to post. I was going to update this site anyways in a few days. (It's a moot post admittingly, but UT in itself doesn't offer much)

The posters there have probably the best view of what is being built here in all honesty.

Fair enough. I think my post was more so related to other projects, like the ones out east, like Monde, or Dundas Square Gardens.

Yeah, the posters there seem to be very knowledgeable about construction, I don't understand half of what they're saying!
A fascinating supplement to SSP Canada though!

CIBC tower will be massive.

I can also see the skypark construction over Union Station tracks.

UT is by far the most comprehensive source for what's going on in Toronto in terms of construction and various planned projects. It can get... tedious to read at times - particularly in non-construction threads.

Their "news articles" are very formulaic.....which makes them nearly impossible to read after a few weeks. Just from my experience. I don't use UT anymore because the community feels like it has some form of entitlement at times, and some of the features/articles are unappealing.

Local 720 Atop the Edmonton Skyline
Edmonton Stantec Tower - You’ve seen it from below. Now take a look from above. Check out these photos of the ironworkers from BTA’s affiliate, Local 720, atop the tallest skyscraper west of Toronto.
When you’re constructing the tallest building in Western Canada, you need the very best skilled trades workers you can find. That’s why Local 720 ironworkers were chosen to complete the crown structure / penthouse of Edmonton Stantec Tower. The tower, when finished this Fall, will be 66 stories (251 m in height). It will have 29 stories of office space, 483 residential suites and some 20,000 square feet devoted to amenities.
Work at the top of Edmonton's skyline - it’s not for the faint of heart, but it is symbolic of the quality work and top-notch skills Local 720 ironworkers bring to every project.
