Very clever. Have seen it used to advertise other events - wonder if it's a fledgling commercial operation?

He needs to win the Adams just for that quote alone!

gross.

I'll be getting out of town that weekend. I prefer to avoid the energy drink crowd whenever possible.

Back in the day I would have went.

Now I will take a pass. To many shenanigans.

I will view on tv. It will be cool to see how they show the city.

The first 2 were magical. After that it devolved into pit-fighting and I lost interest. Still fantastic for the city though. Hopefully they get some big ticket names, and nobody gets injured beforehand and bows out of the event. I think that happened for the one Calgary hosted.

I have run into many Canuck, Leaf, Jet, Flame, Habs fans over the years.....I do not ever recall running into a senators fan.

It's the Carolina Hurricanes or Columbus Blue Jackets of Canadian teams.....they are just there....irrelevant.....if you asked hockey fans to run off as many teams as possible in 2 minutes....they are those teams that a lot of people would forget.

^ Guess with so many patrons using 104 to get to Bay LRT Station, and the park being the only public space, makes sense - but not thrilled they are in the middle of the park butted up against a wall.

At least it's only temporary.

^ Except that the portapotties are on the other side of the street from the LRT station, and I've heard that EPS has been cracking down on jaywalking across our pedestrian-friendly 104 St. Do the math.

Oooh, I love a good conspiracy theory!!

Yeah, that too - though I don't think there's any publicly owned property on the east side.

Cam Talbot for Mayor!

The Oilers got lucky there. They were playing so well until the Ducks PP goal sapped them of energy. Thankfully it took a late Ducks penalty to take the wind out of their sails.
