The other night I saw new programming for the light strips at The Arc.

It was green and transitioned back and forth to blue.
The transitions was the blue "chasing" the green along the strip,
then the green chasing the blue back.

I also saw it last Friday when they were filming the Tron movie during the bridge closure.

I'd hazard a guess its for the Vancouver Canucks Playoff run?

Ah, that makes sense.
In a surprisingly swift move, the City also put up Playoff street banners on Georgia Street -

I happened to take some pictures of the lights on The Arc that night, 4/23, phone quality. Definitely Canucks related. Note that the streetlamps on Cambie Bridge are blue too (I believe they installed the multicolor led lights in 2022, along with the staircase repairs).
