They seem to be ramping up construction. They were already working with the Tower Crane when I drove past on my way to work at 6am and were still working at 430 this afternoon.

Electrical, HVAC and Plumbing is being installed on the West tower. I don't know why this is sideways, but I'm too lazy to fix it.

Concrete is being poured for the East tower.

Nice. I'm still really curious about what might happen on the ground floor. It's a big space. I'm going to assume they don't have anybody lined up yet.

not sure about the Existing Building the along George Street on the new tower there are 3 smaller commercial units.

Also will they use the existing crane and just add on to it when it comes to the higher floors of the East Tower as its current height won't be enough?

Cladding is currently being added to the upper floors and some windows at the back of the original Federal Building are going in.

I really hope they give the exterior a good sandblast. It's grimy as hell right now.

Workers were going well into the evening installing this cladding.

The east tower is up to seven floors.

Nice to see visible progress on both.

You're right about the "grime" - it's very noticeable on the window framing of 150 Main W., but I can't imagine they won't clean that. The brick doesn't look too bad, at least in the photos (a few spots, looking back at earlier pics)... and I just realized there's a lighter row of brick every 6th course. Never noticed that before in decades of going past that building.

WHOA I NEVER NOTICED EITHER. I bet if they give the building a good sandblast that detail will really come out. Dang, good eye!

Funny how the East tower doesn't even look like it's at 7 floors (which is usually pretty tall in this city). I guess that corner is really starting to look like a high-rise district.

Also to be noted. There are two different versions of renders on the website. I personally hope we get something closer to the second image. Much sleeker.

And little too early to tell which one will happen. Great to see East Tower moving on up, and the cladding getting applied. For me, the first render looks more modern - still has some brick, but mostly glass.

Are they still forming higher on Bella, or do they looked to be paused?

Looks like one floor has been added since the July 31 photos.

Thanks, so about 1 floor per every two weeks - seems reasonable. 28 less 8, 20 to go, so another 40 weeks (10 months) of forming. Perhaps that puts completion at 14-16 months out.
