Interesting - both Lower Mainland pro teams (Canucks and Abby Heat) out in the last 24 hours.

Vigneault deserves to take at least some heat - although Demitra, Wellwood, Kesler, Burrows will take some shots along with Luongo.

Very uninspired end to the season.

I wouldn't blame Lou at all. Him, Wellwood, and O'Brien were the only players who were actually playing for Vancouver. Everyone else seemed to be playing for Chicago. Just unbelievably sloppy giveaways.

I blame this solely on Gregor Robertson and his stupid "Canucks Day".

I blame injuries. And "Canucks Day". That celebration probably cursed us. Oh well, good season Canucks, shame it had to end this way.

Yea, that was ill-conceived for brownie points. Something like that should be left to a day actually worth remembering, like a Stanley Cup.

Geoff Meggs for making the Canucks bike to work from their homes, while the Hawks could just walk from their hotel.
And also the Canucks trainer for not buying some of that magic spray from his counterparts at Fifa.

Pretty epic fail in all of the home games. I bet beer sales were high, though!

You know the screwed up part, Canucks had the best home record during the regular season!

Sami Salo refusing to make "excuses" for his play tonight. I think, in this case, pretty much everyone can agree that's a GOOD EXCUSE

Free pass for excuses when that happens~

Nahhhh... Andrea Reimer for forcin' most of the Canuckleheads to engage in backyard chicken coops forcing 'em to lose their focus and composure.

I think it's just lack of enough desire for the win from a few players on the Canucks, Hawks obviously wanted it more.

I don't like Luongo's post game interview. Hmph. Well, at least he's proving he shouldn't be Captain.

Will they have the guts to fix that for next year?

Blamed it all on turnovers, and said he will at least walk out with his head held high, as HE battled for 60 minutes, and didn't let in 7 goals like last year

In his defense, he was right...so many of those goals were on terrible giveaways. I think he was trying to make a joke about the 7 goals thing but it fell flat...

But yeah, I hope they come to their senses about the captain thing after this loss. Everyone knew that was a terrible idea from the beginning, and I'm surprised it's lasted this long.

Also, it's time for the green men to go home. Their "wiping" episode with the Blackhawks flag on national television was crude, to say the least.
