Overall season records were just as sucky, but in the teens the bowl record was good.
The 30s? Not modern football.

Big $$$ have not paid off much lately, except the decent run in Brown’s tenure.

Maybe the new facilities in the DKRTM Stadium expansion will help attract more success.

Edited to add:
Looks like the new turf contractor better have a couple of SEC logos to switch In a couple of years with the Big12s they just installed.

From @BDavisAAS on Twitter: "This may interest only me, but the southeast corner of DKR-TMS has a totally different look. That’s also the “front door” to Moncrief."

First game is 24 days away... I'm not seeing any way this will be completed and inspected in that amount of time...

I know, right?!?

CDC did say that the team would be able to move into their new locker room no later than August 23.

My guess is the South End Zone/Moncrief will be habitable by then but not 100% finished. They're missing whole walls at that entrance.

Sure. To see the Ragin Cajuns?
I'd rather be at a cochon de lait in Breaux Bridge sucking the heads off of a big tray of craydids with the whole Ragin Cajun team, including all the cheerleaders and The Dancing Belles! (Donne-moi un petit bec doux, cher!)
And it would be much cheaper. Travel expenses, included.
Maybe they should just postpone that game and have a Gentle Thursday celebration on the Main Mall, instead. (Bring your masks, of course)
That would give them time to complete The Thing before a real game, maybe.

The Ragin’ Cajuns are a formidable ranked football team. thet returns almost everyone from last season when they defeated Iowa State (who in turn beat Texas).

They are not like Prairie View A&M.

There isn't much left to do.

Also, new LED lights delayed to 2022.

It looks like the Longhorn cutout will be lit up.

Only 2 weeks away now. The team moves into these facilities on Monday. Hopefully, that means a bunch of big reveal videos.

Whoever said that the back would have a big Longhorn logo on it was spot on. From Surly. I was hoping for something a little more... permanent-looking rather than mesh.

A commenter also said the inside isn't anywhere close to being ready for move in tomorrow.

Definitely the video screen needs to be stretched to cover the gaps but the mesh backing might be for air circulation.

I think those gaps will be covered by ads or logos soon. Like so:

Better pic, from the Southwest side. From Surly, too.

Looks like the area around Gate 1 in the SW corner is still a messy construction zone.
Hope they get it cleaned up before we have to walk through there for the opener September 4th.
