Looks like DC infill to me.

Not the worst. Not the best.

It's certainly better than what's being proposed on the other side of Broad Street.

Is a development that size that far north realistic? That's a half-block away from Lehigh. Hard not to be suspicious of a re-zone and flip strategy.

Although I'd love to see it even more dense...this is an EXCELLENT project by ProjectHOME. They do really good design for sure and makes me hopeful about Sharswood

Any speculation of when the next building in the Navy Yard will be announced? I'm excited to see it continue to fill out.

Further, has anyone driven along the new Richmond Street east of 95 in Port Richmond? Penn Dot has done a really nice job with the reconstruction. It's has all new street lighting, curbs, and even a bike/jogging lane. It honestly feels like a whole new frontier. Ditto for the extended portion of North Delaware Avenue up near Bridesburg.

I'm curious to see how these new areas fill in over time.

If Project HOME had any say in the Sharswood plan I'd have ten times the amount of faith in it than I do with the PHA leading it. Project HOME actually knows what they are doing.

It's just a shame People For People has tied their hands with the retail space of the JBJ building at Ridge and Fairmount. Prime retail space sitting empty because People For People wants to control what sort of business goes in. It could have been the cornerstone of the Ridge Ave revival.

Good read! The question becomes where do the addicts and dealers move too? They don't just disappear.

Three scenarios off the top of my head:

1. Deeper into Fairhill
2. Mayfair
3. Camden

Killer update^

May development flow up the El like a river of investment, opportunity, and recovery.

I noticed scaffolding going up on the front side of the Divine Lorraine today, pretty awesome.
