Love how the city is transforming and can't wait to see what the city's skyline will metamorph(is that a word lol) into in coming years.

What north American city not named Chicago or NYC has had the kind of transformation that Austin is going through right now in such a short amount of time? Seattle? Miami?

Nashville is presently undergoing a mind-boggling skyline transformation.

Very true. However, Austin's height and total volume (both in high-rises and other citywide urban infill) are slightly more impressive - IMHO. Don't get me wrong. Nashville and Austin are in a league of there own with regard to the amount of development versus their size (population).

I don't know if I agree with that. Austin has about 6 or 7 projects currently underway, or about to break ground, standing 600'+ and tallest being 1,000'. According to Wikipedia, Nashville only has about 4 projects at 600'+, the tallest being 750'.

Edit: that stupid emoji was not intentional. I'm posting through my smart phone. But there's nothing smart about this dumb phone. I hope I don't come off as snarky, or anything.

Is it not possible for both cities to be undergoing a mind boggling skyline transformation?

Right. This is like the fourth time the two have been compared here.

No worries on the emoji, but disregarding comparative height, no US city is adding more highrises, and getting taller, than Nashville.

I love Nashville and I certainly welcome the friendly competition (more growth for both!), but this is objectively not true. Austin is already much taller and still transforming at a greater clip than Nashville. That can’t really be argued considering the giants that are breaking ground in austin and all the infill in the east, west campus, and domain.

Toronto and Nashville even more so than all of the above.

This is why social media and most online platforms are stupid. One can't ask a basic question without coming off as incendiary to someone. I wasn't in any way disparaging a city. I was simply asking for an objective response. This is dumb.

"You hurt my city's feelings. You said it doesn't have that many buildings being built."

Do you guys not see how dumb that sounds?

Same here in addition to the exposed column patterns. Hopefully the columns will have exterior lighting features.

Has the height changed?
