Just another quick cell phone picture I edited to fix up perspective and bump some colours a bit in photoshop.

I'm really enjoying all the rather unique angles this build is providing I'm going to have to get over downtown with my good camera over the summer

I've been told by a friend working in the convention management business in the city that interior work (electrical, mechanical) is at a standstill in the NoCentre hotel tower.

In announcing the latest delay in opening the convention centre last fall, Mr. Ramia said he expected the hotel to open around the same time as the convention floors, by the end of 2017. He also insisted a hotel brand was secured but, as he's said before, it will be up to the chain to make any announcement. (Earlier speculation included a high-end Marriott brand or Hyatt.)

If that property is to open within the next seven months, one might reasonably expect that interior construction would be well underway by now and that an operator would be announced and actively marketing the property.

Or am I the clueless one here?

When I was at the Stubborn Goat last week there was a flurry of work happening on the inside. Most of seemed to be of the mechanical type along with support structuring.

Starting to see more and more progress on the last bits of the outside.
Glass and vent covers going up on Market and the curved retail glass going up on Argyle.

That is a nice touch. I assume that it would be expensive also.

If that bunker ever does get developed, it'll be nice to cover up the Dillon, but I hope, if possible, most of this view of the Nova Centre will be unchanged.

I keep wondering about the hotel as well. Wasn't the exterior design changed due to the wishes of the hotel? If so, there must be one chosen and if so, how long before they make the reveal?
