So far in the race for the new mayor our choices are a Republican-turned-Independent-turned-Democrat who sounds like 70's porn star and a former city councilman who jacks off in public restrooms. San Diego: the Thunder Bay of America!

I'm guessing he smells like band-aids and ointment.

Correction: the Thunder Bay Circa 2006 of America.

We had four good candidates for mayor last time! You're the Toronto of America, now!

What happened to his eyes anyway? He looks like he was pretending to be Chinese during a windstorm and his face got stuck like that.

^^^ The fact that game exists is the main reason I left Facebook aside from wasting my time looking at mindless statuses.

Based on dinner tonight I think that I may be pregnant. I ate:

A Gyro;
Chili Cheese Fries; and
I washed it all down with my take on a Bloody Caesar (Clamato, Gin, loads of horseradish, hot sauce, celery seed).

Move over Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito

I got into the Batwoman comic series back in March on the basis of the stunning art, and the refreshing characterization of Kate Kane, not least the relationship with her girlfriend/fiancée.

DC just f*cked up the entire series.

Does DC do anything nowadays besides fucking up? My favorite characters are DC (Batman, the 1980s version of The Question), but there's been one too many timeline rifts, reboots and crazy-ass one offs.

Not really. Wonder Woman is said to be an amazing series right now, so I may check that out, but the consensus is that about 35 of the 52 titles suck. But I'm far from the only angry one: ComicVine's forums are seething.

I dont know if you've ever seen Linkara's videos, but his reviews of "All Star Batman and Robin" and "Cry for Justice" are absolutely hysterical.

So here it is, September 9th and 99° F outside and I get to go to a workplace that smells like Christmas x 10! Early last week we received multiple pallets of potpourri and scented candles so one entire section of the warehouse reeks of a mix of eye and nasal passage-burning cinnamon and headache-inducing pine. Countless times since last week I'll be driving one of three different forklifts/pallet movers when I get to that section of the building and find myself in a fit of sneezing from that smelly crap and I have to put on the breaks.

Every year it's the same thing.

I never hated Christmas as much as I do until I started my current job.
