that was the dream...but the moxie to make the zoning changes never appeared...maybe now with MainStreet (article yetserday showing that it may be applied to Federal from i70 down to 6th)...

I think TODs will really take off once new lines are being built. Right now, the SE line has really seen a great deal of development.

Yeah, the SE corridor is seeing a TON of new development now, and it's about to start exploding right near Arapahoe & I-25. Between the hotel proposal (I believe a 15-16 story Clarion?), I just saw a proposal on rds's website about a 15 story, 225 foot office building located essentially adjacent to the building I work in. Two more nice midrises for the Arapahoe/I-25 area to complement Plaza Tower One? Nice, very nice!

That building looks pretty good. That definately will help densify that TOD.

Yes! What a great addition! There are also a couple new office buildings going up around the Lincoln station (one already finished), but I'm assuming they are going to be around 5/6 stories like the other buildings in the area.

I have'nt been downtown for quite some time now, is One Lincoln Park starting to rise? Does anyone know? I believe we are due for some Pic's! Please if somone would be so kind as to snap some pic's of 1LP if there has been progress. Thank you in advance...

Thanks rds, it's coming along i guess? Slowly but surely eh? By this spring though i'm sure that bad boy will be rising nicely, hopefully we will have more joining in the fun, over this spring and summer and all through-out the 2007 year. Btw I really like this tower I had seen an add in one of the local magazines for the tower, I sure wish I had an additional 800K lying around if that were the case? You know damn well where that money would be going!!!

i work there... the elevators go to floor 31, where you have to switch if you are on higher floors (my office is on 32), i imagine it is used for mechanical purposes

Wow...that seems kinda un-economical and foolish for a building wih only 40-something floors. Do you hop on the elevator for that one extra floor to piss everyone off or do you take the stairs?
