No I didn't... they were all there in the original post. It's just that I edited it ten thousand times to try and figure out how to make the images smaller, so you may have seen it in an iteration where they weren't there.

I hope they keep it. It's interestingly aesthetically and is a beautiful part of the area's vibe.

It's like that Taco Cabana at S. Lamar & Riverside they're tearing down. . It's an Austin icon.

That whole stretch of Shoal Creek is going to look nice when everything is finished.

There are currently two trestle bridges. One is closed off and one is the bike/ped bridge.

These plans call for removal of one trestle bridge (the one that is open) and replacing it with a new pedestrian bridge. The new bridge looks pretty bland, but the old bridge is also a pain to ride over due to the uneven boards and probably expensive to maintain, so while we lose some charm, it's probably the right choice.

I wouldn't call that a public plaza given it will be occupied primarily by vehicles for drop-off and valet. Edit: Actually it's half Plaza, half driveway.

The pedestrian one is not and was never a trestle bridge.

I really don't like the way this building looks. I know it is daring and different, but I don't think it is very inspiring. It is gimmick architecture that may or may not age well. Either way it will be there for all to see for decades to come. I'd prefer to see something more graceful looking.

I'm not in love with it either. It's interesting, but not attractive. Still, it will serve as one of the landmark buildings that identify the skyline.

An important missing piece in this rendering is the Fifth and West tower. Does anyone know, will that be to the left or right of the Capitol from this angle? It could help balance things a bit by making the Independent look slightly less dominant, awkward, and alone.
