Dear God...not only should we not be bad-mouthing people due to the inherent karma values associated with it ( such as word trailing back to them, and thus potential drama)...

But aside from this point, have we not been paying attention to movies such as Candyman, Beetlejuice, Poltergeist, The Ring, Insidious, etc?

IE) Leave that **** alone and don´t mess with a good thing!!

Here is more info on the Artists Urban Village that is planned for the Mount Royal Hotel site.

The site is located at the corner of 102A Avenue and 96 Street. It was originally acquired using Cornerstones funds for $1.9 million with an additional $400,000 budgeted for demolition and associated costs.

The project program, as prepared by Artists Urban Village, will be a combined low-rise/high-rise development that will provide home and studio space for multi-generational, senior and emerging, mixed-income artists of all artistic disciplines. This residential component is proposed to be located above three floors of arts-related commercial space. The building will contain 60 residential units, combining live/work and studio options designed to accommodate a diversity of housing types and tenures.

So it appears that GMH-designed condo on 76th just west of the LRT station is in full production now. Were there improvements made in the design from the original? It didn't look terrible, but nothing fantastic either. Good format for the area either way.

Not once they put in the obligatory spikes for the pigeons. I like the original facade. Old-school pseudo-International. We don't show that era enough love and the new rendition is less intriguing than the original to me. A good cleaning and some love on the street-level is all it needed to me.

I really like the Jaffer building. Unfortunately it has made everything around it look like it needs a good cleaning....looking at you CWB.

If Enbridge consolidated all their offices, how much space would that take up in a new tower? (shwd park, ING, the Tower, Manulife, RBC, wherever else)
