Not in London, but the shape and colours of the Chateau Lacombe in Edmonton look rather stupid and fugly.

Yup the Bafflon Tower has always looked awful to me, but st least it has architectural merit.

no merit, unless the prize is for sheer ugliness

I meant uniqueness but yes it’s a piece of shit. The London Courthouse is awful.
I never liked Toronto’s courthouse but I can see how some like it.

Calgary’s Courthouse is one of the worst federal buildings ever.

Edmonton’s courthouse has been mentioned here before but I don’t really mind it.

BALL-area looks like it could be Clockzilla's long lost cousin that had cosmetic surgery to remove the cyclops eye.

Accurate . Both are equally ugly and imposing. There are unfortunately enough three towers in the Balleria complex making the ugliness just as widespread as the Clockzillas.

Drove by this house today which I always thought had an ugly yard. Initially it was just the hacked up, mostly dead tree in front combined with the barren patch of grass and the shitty shed. Then it dawned on me. The yard is elevated above street grade. Instead of a retaining wall they literally just used concrete road dividers and back filled it with soil.

While awkward looking from outside, the Calgary Courthouse is kind of an interesting building. It was designed and built in the post 9/11 world so it is basically a bomb shelter. The atrium inside is amazing though. In the event of a zombie apocalypse it would be the first place I would go to take shelter.

The atrium looks fantastic, I had no idea the inside was that interesting.

Wow....I'm impressed by the intent and thought that went into the CCC. Thanks for showing us that link.

No problem. I think it's an unfairly maligned building. It is awkward looking but has architectural merit.

Yeah thank you, you could never tell from that exterior that the inside is so amazing.

That Halifax proposal is garish but downright beautiful compared to the Venetian.

Seeing it in person is like what I imagine meeting Gary Busey to be like. You know they are ugly, but nothing can truly prepare you. It is imo one of the BIG 3 uglies in our country. The other two being Les Residences Soleil Laval and the Rooms.
