One Bloor West | 308.6m | 85s | Tridel | Foster + Partners l u/c

Looks so much like one of the dozens of renderings that Sam (RIP) cranked out.

The proposed height of the third One Yonge tower has been increased to, what was it, 320 metres.

Pinnacle has applied for a height increase, but it hasn't happened yet.

A new proposed rental building at 38-50 Park Road (@107.9m - 31s designed by David Chipperfield + BDPQ)... includes a great future rendering of the Bloor-Yorkville neighbourhood.

38-50 Park Road is in the centre of the image, dwarfed by all the built, u/c, approved and proposed towers that surround it. Almost a game of Where's Waldo for the 31 storey building.

35-50 Park Road looks much better up close. It's understated elegance over flash and I love that they respected 50 Park, a mid-century structure. They've beautifully integrated it into the design.

Absolutely massive supertall the centre piece of this 3 tower redevelopment. Great skyline changer in a great location (College and Yonge).  96, 75 & 65 storeys towers, the restoration of the heritage College Park building in addition to new residences, hotel, retail, office, cultural, entertainment space and reimagined public realm/park.

Really like the HPA towers and heritage College Park marriage.

It's great to see new mega projects still being proposed in Toronto when they have all but dried up in most cities. My guess is these towers will not include speculative condos. The original College Park development included multiple towers that were shelved after the stock market crash in 1929. I don't think they were quite as tall though.

I was at the Biidaasige Park opening! It is an awesome addition to the waterfront and will only get better as the ecology develops. We rode bikes through to Tommy Thomson Park and back. I hoped to go back to paddle the new channel, but that will have to wait until next summer.

I just watched half an hour of a guy kayaking (his POV) around the park... no music, no editing and still mesmerizing.... astonishing and gorgeous what they've done here.

The skyline with the new construction was looking good during the opening shots before the Jays-Cubs game today.

With 121 Completed 150m+ Buildings and what looks like another 13 in the diagram above Topping Out, Toronto's count is at ~134 such buildings. With Chicago at 140 the lead over Toronto is now just 6 buildings. Perhaps by next summer Toronto will have moved ahead.

Toronto will eventually catch Chicago in the stats battle but Toronto will never, at least in my time, match Chicago's iconic skyline.
