I am sure that sometime ago I had read that a major bank had signed on to rent some floors in one of the office buildings at Nova and said bank was to get signage on the building. Am I imaging things again?

I believe it was BMO. Hopefully their signage won't blow away like it's current location on George st.

It's funny, that 1st shot almost looks like a rendering, just given the colouring and how they all seem to like to give a night shot as the render for new developments these days.

Thanks! I was walking up Barrington and the lighting was perfect, but I did not get close enough to capture it as I first saw it. It looked exactly like the renderings for a brief moment.

Because while the exterior is looking mostly complete, the interior has a looooong way to go.

All we've seen so far is the shell. And it's a very big shell. As others have mentioned, a lot of the interior factors weren't finalized until recently.

Not too mention all the groundwork to give this building some sort of appeal at street level.

Apparently the architect for Nova Centre (Noel Fowler) passed away according to the Chronicle Herald.

I'm glad they went with the dark brick. But that pattern effect when you see it from certain angles all over the building is really busy and overwhelming. Whether its the glass or the brick or both combined.
