I agree that it looks well-built, and at least it's surrounded by greenery, but it's utterly out of place in its location, and that statue is vomitous schlock. It's only fair of me to mention that this nabe is infested with
noveau riche McMansions (like almost all of North York), but most are more tasteful than this thing, if McMansions can be termed tasteful. Very few modern phenomena enrage me quite as much as the unconscionably wasteful, hedonistic practice of demolishing eminently livable houses and rebuilding them, particularly in an economic climate such as ours, where regular people cannot afford housing.
