This is them.

They look almost as gross as Kid Rock.

The Tumblr Tag. It's almost as pathetic as the tag for One Direction. I'm scared.

I had to check it out on utube since I've never heard of them either. I made it about a minute into one song before I stopped. Just more dull, cliche'-filled country dreck. Nothing new there.

I eventually got around to watching some of their videos on youtube. For making me watch that BS, I hereby REVOKE your black card.

From henceforth you shall be known as Delta Township, as any references to Lansing are now deemed too black for you!

I know, right? Not only is it that pop sh%t that passes for "country", these days, but then you're going to autotune it? Really, you're going to autotune country? Chile, please. Ain't nobody got time for that. I'm certain that in certain parts of the South, that's a capital offense.

Why does this forum favor opinion and fantasy over fact and reality?

So I'm at my cousin's house in the Hamptons and I'm alone with the French au pair she hired, who is stereotypically fucking hot. I'm crossing my fingers that a porno movie moment produces itself at any moment.

Damn! I hope that this doesn't get attention in the other Detroit thread. Just what my hometown needed.

Though, I can't say I'm surprised by the fact that they left out a kind of important, or at least notable, fact that a St. Clair Shores officer was also involved, among others, apparently. That'd kind of destroy the narrative the News has running, though, and we can't have that.

Some of you might've already seen this on Facebook, but I think its worth sharing the longer version with you guys:

I'm writing up a synopsis of a police report for work wherein the accused is charged with assaulting a cop.

The accused was blackout drunk when firefighters and the cops arrived. The accused threatened to shoot the cop who approached him. When the cop and his partner tried to handcuff the accused, the accused somehow managed to get free, run around the fire engine (which for whatever reason was not being guarded by the firefighters on the scene).

The accused climbed up into the drivers seat of the fire engine, put on a firefighters hat and attempted to drive away from the scene. The first cop managed to get a hold of the drivers side door (the window was rolled down) while the second cop grabbed the first cop's arm. When the first cop turned to tell his partner to let go of him, the accused decked the first cop.

Somehow, the cops managed to get the accused out of the fire engine and in handcuffs. Thankfully, the accused was too drunk to figure out how to properly operate the fire engine and couldn't make a proper getaway, although the thought of cops chasing after a stolen fire engine would've made this story that much more batshit crazy.

I dunno, the visuals of this in my mind as I was reading the police report sent me over the edge this morning. It's like something out of a Monty Python skit, albeit with "Yakety Sax" playing in the background...

The accused must have encountered the nicest officers on the force. He's lucky that he didn't encounter trigger-happy Canadian cops, otherwise you would be summarizing the accused's autopsy report.

Actually "Yackity Sax" is the music played during Benny Hill, usually when he was chasing a bikini-clad female in fast motion........While I love British television comedy, I NEVER found Benny Hill funny.
