Aurelien is looking significantly less horrible with the black and glass being added in. Maybe it won't be awful, especially since the beige color isn't as light as I was worried it would be. The balconies still worry me, looking awkward right now

What's interesting to me is that Chicago's Hammersmith is starting to form. A friend of mine from Chicago works for a web dev company in Hammersmith and for years I had always wished that Chicago had a creative corridor extending out from the CBD.

We're getting that now. River North started it but now we're getting extensions down the Lake L and up the river.

Maybe before I die, I'll get to see extensions down the South Branch to Pilsen, Bridgeport and Chinatown.

And then I can die happy.
