Sure, I've spotted one Downtown several times. I'm not sure if they have more than one, or it just gets around a lot. Seems slightly bigger than the Shift trikes. Those are around a lot - and there should be more of them since the Provincial funding announcement.

Seems like Shift has maybe 10-15 trikes max?

Roads are in a sorry state right now. So many inverted speedbumps and potholes.

I remember it took nearly 18-24 months to fix some potholes after the bad winter of 2016-2017. City of Vancouver never really bothered to attend to some roads or kept laying loose gravel on it as a "fix." I have a feeling many side streets will be decaying for quite some time.

Of course, many issues can be prevented by leveling portions of roadways or tending to alligator cracking however municipalities seem dead set against preventive measures.

I swear they use oatmeal to fill the potholes.

Eco-terrorists are planning to block Highway 1 now. We need some of these idiots to see jail time right now.

These types of incidents will only become
more common as we move along with COV’s bizarre policies.

Except it's happening in Burnaby, not Vancouver.

I'm curious if the parking spot was in the original lease or not, since the article mentions that the landlord removed the tenant's access to an on-property spot.

Regardless, as others mentioned, no one "owns" street parking or a specific spot...

Apparently these clowns are such losers that they were thrown out from the Extinction Rebellion clown club which must take a special kind of fool to happen. You cannot make this stuff up.

I'm surprised no one installed their private milk jug bollards to secure their private parking spot on a public road.

Would generating pollution be labelled as "eco terrorism" too?

It would seem that in virtually every case, regulating and charging for parking makes it more available, thus reducing these types of incidents.

Nope, nobody's been terrorized by these blockades.

At worst, it's "inconveniencism".

Calling it "terrorism" is, IMHO, is thumbing your nose at those who have been injured and killed in actual terror attacks.

I was musing about this the other day how fascinating it is that we can force people to pay fees for access to community / rec centres, but not to store a private machine on a public road.

The question is how far should "user pay" go?

Will people be charged for:
- walking through a park,
- allowing a dog to use an off-leash area,
- playing on a public tennis court,
- using a picnic table, or
- planting a towel and umbrella on a public beach
- installing a volleyball net on a public beach
