Agreed. I really like the glass so far. There's just a tiny bit of yellow brick to break it up. It's a pleasant nod to Philadelphia brick while maintaining a contemporary look and not looking tacky.

I wish this building was twice as tall.

I actually find this building's height to fit perfectly with its given location on the river. Anything much taller would look out of place. It already adds a lot in terms of visual density when you look up the river.

^ Agree. It will look even better when its companions are built. If CHOP decides that it needs some more square footage, maybe some of those will turn out taller than current plans (and sitting among the others, won't look at all out of place.

The biggest benefit of this one is that it's extending the skyline further south, which to me is more exciting than height alone. I think it's a looker and great for the location.

Today I noticed that the crown of this building has a slight slope in it rather than being flat. It hasn't really been apparent in the renders or any pics so far but it looks great.

Nope, the rendering shows deeper fins on the first two or three floors, and shallower fins up the remainder of the tower:




And that's what we're seeing take shape in real life. Give it time, son, give it time.
