^^For about 25 years I've been walking past that lot wondering if they'd EVER build anythng there and why such a prime piece of property had escaped development (I knew the details, but it just seemed like somebody should have found a way to build on it). It's hard to believe it's finally happening.

Yup and in just a few more months there will be a hella deep hole there to be followed by signature towers..

Has anyone been able to find a webcam for this new Oceanwide Center project?

^^^If those positions match up with the column locations then it is possible. They seem to according to the site plan.

Anybody have time table info for this?

I'm curious if the whole development (taller/shorter component) will rise simultaneously or could we expect the 635 ft component 1st, followed by the 910 ft component in phase 2?

I forget with respect to this project if it will all rise at once.

^^^I heard it's actually due to complete in 2021, but you're close.

Site work is being done for both towers, so I would assume structural foundation work will begin for both towers simultaneously as well. As for the towers, I believe it is possible to construct them simultaneously. The shorter tower may go up quicker, since it is much less complex.

Thanks Timbad! Looks like they're making good progress on the excavation/demolition activity.
