Fair point - although Biff did some renderings that showed what we could expect height wise. Keep in mind, it will contrast more with 360 main as opposed to 201 portage. It does pop out nicely and is distant enough from the P&M cluster

And it can’t be too tall, how else can we look forward to the prospect of another new tallest as Winnipeg continues its population march towards one million

I guess when it's all said and done, certain angles from where ever you are in the city, it will blend in a bit. It will be obviously taller, but with obvious physical exterior similarities with 360 Main, it will blend in a bit.

If you're coming from the east side of the city (say, Trans Canada Highway 1 East, going towards Winnipeg), it does make a significant impact on the skyline. Whereas coming from the north, it will be more harder to see, but you can barely see the crane. When the whole crane and slipform rises in September, it will be way more noticeable.

Those of you that don't think the impact on the skyline will be monumental, just check out that bottom image lol

that bottom image has always been one of my favourite angles of the skyline and now with 300 main taking shape it definitely bulks it up. It should look amazing once complete.

That bottom image with Shaw Park in the foreground makes it look that Winnipeg transformed to a glass building style for the super talls (201P, plus 300 and 360 Main). I'll
throw in the Hydro tower in the background to make my point

Prior to that, it was really only 201P that had this look of the super tall.

311 South Wacker Drive looks the same height as Willis tower when you're standing under them at street level. And yet Willis is over a 201 Portage taller than 311 S Wacker. Perspectives are wacker.

It does depend on the angle though. For example, there are some angles in Calgary where the bow is barely noticeable or you don’t really see it and others where it stands out significantly and is skyline defining

Likewise, this tower will have a similar impact - some angles will be skyline defining, others will not be as noticeable or visible

The angle for the second camera got changed. Glad they're keeping everything in view.

By the looks of it, that might be the final angle for that camera.

Now it's just a matter of adjusting the first camera when the time is appropriate.

It didn't take long for the core and boom height to max out. Looks like it will be coming down soon again.
