I'm no developer, so I'm undecided as to whether the 20-50 plan was something we needed to preserve or not. Is the ability develop properties across municipal boundaries really a deal maker/breaker? It seems like it would have spread out potential developments across a wider area and just in Winnipeg, wouldn't it?

Mentally I'm also comparing this with the unpopular Pallister provincial board that gave itself the ability to kibosh civic projects. Isn't the 20-50 plan something similar, or are we looking at a different kettle of fish?

Downtown is very quiet today with the long weekend ahead. Except for the big PP announcement. SSP is also very quiet today. Coincidence? lol
