Nah you gotta check out some of the ones in China. But yes, this will be by far the best lighting scheme in the US

I see 2 WTC on her crown. Perhaps that’s a sign of life for that tower. I hope that Larry lives to see the day that it is topped off. He is a great New Yorker and deserves it.

The Good Lord seems to be fairly confident that 2 WTC will rise or he would not have included it on the crown.

This is going to be incredible. I wonder if 350 Park will have special lighting like this.

I’m pleasantly surprised they’re putting effort into lighting this baby up. I’ve been disappointed with a lot of these iconic New York towers that have neglected any tasteful lighting that were originally expected (111w, verre, cpt, etc).

With that said, I hope they don’t go too crazy with the “crown”. This building has a sort of uniform shape and tapering from top to bottom. Because of this, I don’t think it will look good if they brightly light the top section of the building in contrast to the rest. I think it will look better with a more uniform led pattern that outlines the edges of the building (similar to BOA in Dallas) and diamonds. But, I’m sure they’ll play with it and make it look right

I get the feeling that they're just calibrating the lighting and testing it out at full brightness. It will probably be much more subdued later on, aside from special events maybe.
